Latest up-date Lockdown rules:

Following the government’s revision of the lockdown rules, Bowls England have updated their guidance for bowls clubs.

Groups of up to 6 can now meet outside provided that people from different households observe social distancing (staying at least 2m apart)

Therefore it is now possible to have a pairs match in progress on the green at the same time as a singles match.

In theory we can play one triples match but the Bowls England advice is to consider alternative formats with reduced numbers per rink – for example singles and pairs – in order for social distancing to be more easily maintained.

You must still phone me to book a rink, telling me how many people will be playing (and spectating) so that no more than 6 people at a time will be down the green.

Please take extra care. Disinfect all equipment, use hand sanitiser regularly and maintain the 2 metre social distance at all times.
